The Spring Concert will feature Ralph Vaughn Williams' wartime setting of Walt Whitman's poem "Dona Nobis Pacem." "Dona Nobis Pacem" leads us from the brutality and power of battle to the personal sorrows of war. In the work, Vaughn Williams explores the "noise" of battle and ends with a message of hope for lasting peace. It is a profound and timely work as our nation currently faces the challenges of war.

Other works will be "Song of the Open Road," "A Jubilant Song," and "Night, Sleep, Death and the Stars."
